MIDSUMMER WEEKEND STAY AT HAPIMAG RESORTS

On Midsummer, we went for a weekend getaway. A short holiday at Hapimg resorts in Punkaharju. It was a much needed break.

The weather is finally getting warmer and summer is finally here. It’s June and it’s been sunny every day. Everyone is wishing for this weather to finally arrived.

Midsummer is one of the most anticipated holidays in Finland. The summer solstice is where almost all families go to their summer cabin. Stays there for the long weekend with the family. Making fun and happy summer memories. We don’t have our own summer cabin, but we wanted to be away from the noisy city this weekend as well. So we booked a summer cabin far away from home.

We drove for over 3 hours to reach this place. And I’m so glad we did. We will be here for 3 days and 2 nights. Just resting, relaxing, and making fun memories with the family. We’re living slow in here. Just relaxing and not worrying about anything. Just a short weekend getaway to recharge.

The whole time we were here it was cloudy and rain. But we didn’t have any special plans so the weather really didn’t bother us. We had BBQs in the evening, a yummy and healthy breakfast, and lunch. And during the day we would walk to the beach. Letting the kids enjoy the water and let them swim as much as they want.

Time goes fast. And it was time to leave. But before we leave this town we decided to go to the amusement park as well. Which didn’t end up well because, after an hour we arrived, and it started to rain. A scary storm actually. So we decided to just drive home.
