OUR ADVENTURES IN BUTUAN

We had great adventures in Butuan during our holiday trip in 2018. I lived in Butuan for over four years. I spent my university years there and it’s good to be back.

We stayed at my best friend’s beach resort in Magallanes. We had relaxing days most of the time. One night we experienced a beautiful sunset. It was amazing. I also met some of my close friends in college. It was so nice to see them again and spent time together with them even for just one evening. We had karaoke and long chit chats. It was really wonderful and we had a great time.

One day we visited rice fields and Tagnote Falls. The falls were just recently discovered. It was so nice there spending time at the waterfalls only us no one else. It was very quiet and I love the ambiance of nature. After our adventures in Tagnote walls, we went to visit the Cabadbaran wet market where I bought a lot of foods I brought back to Finland. I used to come to Cabadbaran every summer when I was little. It’s my mother’s hometown and my grandma lived there before.

We also visited my aunt and cousins in Butuan before we traveled to my hometown. I used to live at my auntie for over two years when I was studying in universities. They are our closest relatives. It was nice to see them again and I hope we can stay there longer.

We had a great time and adventures in Butuan. Looking forward to having more when we come back there next time.
