MAKING CAKE POPS USING MOLD
Making cake pops is so challenging for me. It takes a lot of time and effort. It takes my patience away. But once it’s done the effort is all worth it. Cake pops are delicious and perfect for parties. They’re pretty to be present in the dessert table. I always make cake pops in most of my parties. Sharing today cake pops recipe.
To make life easier I decided to buy a cake pop molds. It saves a lot of my time. Although I must admit that the taste of the cake isn’t as good as the ones made from scratch. You know, from the cake and frosting mixture. However, to save time and effort using mold is just perfect. I made these cake pops for my baby shower.
I made cake pops for my baby shower and decided to take photos and share the recipes here on the blog. It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a recipe blog post. So, here it goes. I ‘m sharing today how to make cake pops using a mold. It is easy and simple. The only challenging for me is the chocolate coating. It’s hard to find the perfect timing in melting chocolates to not be too sticky. But I made it and my cake pops are looking delicious and pretty.
CAKE POPS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
8 tbsp butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
8 tbsp flour 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
PROCEDURE:
In a bowl mix butter and powdered sugar using a hand mixer.
Add eggs and continue beating.
Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Mix all using spatula.
Brush your mold with oil or butter to prevent sticking.
Using a spoon fill in the cake pop molds.
Cover with the other mold.
Bake at 175’c for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool.
DECORATING AND COATING THE CAKE POPS
Before I attach the sticks I put ribbons on it first.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
Attach the sticks using melted chocolate and freeze for about an hour.
Melt another chocolate. Add some color depends on what you like. I was using chocolate and pink colors.
Dip the cake pops on the chocolate then add sprinkles on top.
Repeat the same procedure until all the cake pops are coated.
Freeze and serve later.
