VISITING THE BUDA CASTLE IN BUDAPEST

Being in Budapest Hungary it is a must to visit the Buda Castle. We had a lot of fun exploring the Buda castle. We were lazy to explore inside though and see the museums. But we were very happy to see around and see the whole complex.

As we spent a day exploring Budapest, we visited all the places we can including the Buda castle. We climbed up the hill to reach the castle and once we got there, it was nice to see the view of the city from the top. I thought it was hard to climb as I was pregnant at that time. I was willing to take the cable car, but then Meu suggested that we should try walking up. So, I was surprised how easy it was to walk up. Visiting the castle is free and it is nice to walk around the area.

Once you’re on top of the hill you are near to any other tourist attractions such as the Fishermans Bastion and the Mathias Church. So from there we just walk until we reached the Fishermans Bastion. The Buda Castle District is open to everyone for visiting. If you like hiking then you don’t need to take the funicular to go up. Walking is even nicer and as I mentioned above, the hill is not very high and it is very easy to walk around.
