I said before that we are not buying anything new for the baby. We think to save money. However, I realized that I can buy an expensive bag for me, so why can’t I buy anything new for the baby and the nursery? There’s a website and they have a lot of on sale items for baby so I purchased a few things. I would say a smart buy because all the items I bought were on sale.
I have an amazon baby registry but I believed no one checked it? But I cannot be so sure yet as the baby shower is still on November 2. So I don’t know if friends used the baby register as a guide to what things we need for baby. There are two items being purchased in the registry. The crib mobile and the breast bump. These items were bought by the Godparents (yes, we already picked Godparents as soon as we knew were pregnant.) The rest of the stuff we bought ourselves.

I decided to buy a new one after I saw old ones with almost the same price as this one at a discounted price. I think this one we can use a lot. I hope the baby will love it. It’s a very basic and simple style. But it has swing and music.

A bouncer. We can use when we are in the living room or I am in the kitchen making food. Baby can lie down and watch me cook. Also, good for the baby to be always near wherever I am.

We don’t use the changing table. We used two malm dresser as a changing table as well. We put a changing pad on top of the dresser and it is good enough. Actually a better solution for small spaces.

HAPPY WITH OUR PURCHASES FOR BABY AND NURSERY
I feel very lucky that we save a lot of money not buying the stroller and car seats. We are using the stroller and car seat from Meu’s sister. We have three car seats now. Two we borrowed from Meu’s sister and the other one my co-worker gave it to us. The stroller and the car seat are the ones that are expensive. So I am happy that we don’t have to buy it. Also, we are using my friend’s baby crib. So, we didn’t buy a new crib as well.
We also received a lot of used baby clothes. I still have all of Yanna’s baby clothes as well. Of course, as a mama, I cannot get more excited to buy new clothes, so I am also buying a few more new baby clothes :). Also, we received a lot of baby clothes from the Kela Maternity package.
So far, I think we have all we need. We are ready for the baby to come. I think we buy the baby carrier and the diaper bag later. It’s hard to find a good diaper bag. They are all cute but I am not sure if I really need or use a diaper bag. The crib is ready as well as the dressers/changing table, and the feeding area. We put a little nursery in our bedroom. It’s good that our bedroom is big enough to fit all. I will update later if we purchase other things for the baby and nursery.
