WEEK 31 PREGNANCY UPDATES
I am 31 weeks pregnant now (32 on Sunday). I’m getting excited every time the new week starts. We are getting there. Only 9 more weeks until the due date. Oh, also 9 weeks more to go before Christmas. I always forget that Christmas is also coming as well as Yanna’s birthday. I only have one wish though, this baby to not come on Yanna’s birthday or on Christmas day. Also, the father’s birthday is November 30. These dates are so close to each other.

October 20- 26
The third trimester is really hard. Well, the first time was the worst as well. But since entering the third trimester, my body is full of aches. I had my Braxton hicks start in the second trimester. But I was doing fine. I walk to work. I work five days a week. I was totally okay. Even though I had leg cramps and feet pain after work. It was manageable.
Now, I cannot sleep on the sofa. It used to be a best friend since the bump starts growing. I loved sleeping on the sofa. It was the only comfortable place I can sleep. This week, the sofa feels so hard and I always wake up with back pain and butt pain. So, I tried to sleep in bed now. The first two nights in bed I had insomnia and woke up with lots of pain. The third night was better. I went to bed at 10 pm and slept until 8:30. No waking up to pee. It was a great night. Although, the body hurts still when I get up from the bed.
I am now trying to use my belly support belt. I had it I think when I was still in my first trimester. It feels pushing everything in and I feel uncomfortable wearing it. That’s why I never have worn it at work. I’ve worn just once. But lately, I’ve been using it even if I am home. Let’s see if it helps. I’m not sure if it helps and I will use it as much as I can now. It supports the growing belly and helps with the back pain.
HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS
CONSTIPATION
Constipation is real. I drink a lot of water every day. I am eating foods with fiber. But constipation is still there.
BUTT/HIP PAIN
I am thankful that I am now on sick leave. Getting up from the bed is so hard. Everything hurts. This morning I got up and my butt/hip was painful. The left hip was in pain that walking was almost impossible. I don’t understand why. I am home but I don’t just sit or lie down. So I know the pain isn’t because I don’t exercise my muscles. Probably I’ll take more calcium.
BRAXTON HICKS
I noticed that I don’t have so many Braxton hicks now that I am home. But once I am out of the house walking the Braxton hicks and cramps occurs.
SHORTNESS OF BREATH
The baby is growing and my organs are getting cramp inside. It’s hard to breathe sometimes. Also, I can feel the baby moves around too much. She was on my left side and now on the right. She’s kicking my bladder, belly button and ribs. I can see my belly moves from outside. It’s an amazing thing to see.
Moreover, the best feeling of this week is the strong baby kicks. Like she is dancing inside. I am eating so many sweets lately so that’s probably one reason she is very active all the time. But I am happy that the baby is healthy. That’s the most important thing. I can handle all these pains that this pregnancy brings. Everything is normal. I just need to take care of my body more. Have enough rest and eat well. It’s a few days until we are in my 8th week of pregnancy. We’re getting closer, baby girl. I love you so much!
