30 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UPDATE
October 13- 19
I had my monthly appointment on Monday, October 14th. Everything went well. I told the nurse about my Braxton Hicks that occurs whenever, wherever and whatever I am doing. And that I am having them for many weeks now. I ignore them because I knew and thought they were normal. The nurse advised me to see the doctor after which I did.
I met with the doctor. She checked me and told me I need to rest. So, she gave me three weeks sickleave. I wanted to stay home to rest but also I love to work as much as possible. I told to myself that I will survive and I go to work until my maternity leave starts in November. So, this sick leave now is really unexpected. But I am happy someone finally heard me when I said I am always in pain. It’s good that I opened up to my nurse, rather than work every day not knowing it’s getting worse and it can put me and the baby in danger. Better safe than sorry.
Anyway, we put the crib ready this week with the canopy and mobile. It looks cute. Soon I will order the nursing armchair and the rest of the things we need.
HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS
BRAXTON HICKS
I still get them from time to time. But I am trying to rest as much as possible now. Stop moving all the time. Stop stressing over things and just rest as much as I can. I notice that the BH occurs more often when I am walking or when I am somewhere outside of the house. I get them as well even if I am home sitting or lying down.
LEG CRAMPS
I often get leg cramps during the night when I am lying down. It lasts only a few seconds now. But it is painful and comfortable. I get them whenever I stretch my legs.
FATIGUE
I always get tired. During my appointment, they checked my hemoglobin and it was low, so I was advised to take iron. So now I am taking iron and trying to eat green leafy vegetables. I still sleep well during the night from 10 pm-7 am. The latest I go to sleep is 11 pm and so amazing I still sleep well. :)
