WEEK 28 PREGNANCY UPDATES
We are now at 28 weeks. I am seven months pregnant. Sometimes it is hard to believe that I am. It feels like it was only yesterday when we found out I am pregnant, 12 more weeks and we get to see our little bundle of joy. Seven months means I am now in the third trimester. They said things are getting harder. We’ll see that!
28 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UPDATE
September 30- October 5
I am working fulltime this week. Monday- Thursday. Off on Friday and work again on the weekends. It’s quite a hard week when you don’t have so many day-offs and you work every day. But I know I can do it and I will try my best to survive until I start my maternity leave. I have less than six weeks until I stop working and I am counting. :) I’ll survive until then. I want to work as much as I can. Walk to work and back as much as I can. I would like to be active every day. It’s my only exercise as I don’t do any workouts.
At 28 weeks, I can feel frequent baby movements. I can see it from the outside too. Even Yanna can now feel the baby’s kicks when she put her hand on my belly. It feels amazing but also uncomfortable sometimes when she moves too much. I can feel little feet or hands. I continue using bio-oil to prevent stretch marks. So far no stretch marks on my belly yet and my belly button is still inside. I feel so huge now and I think I am already so fat. :)
Last Sunday we went to IKEA and bought all the baby things we could find there. We bought a crib mattress, beddings, malm dresser, bathtub, changing pad cover, etc. We almost have what we need.
HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS
SWEET TOOTH
Since last week (27 weeks) I cannot stop eating sweets. I shouldn’t have bake chocolate cake and cupcakes. I bake and I eat. During this pregnancy I didn’t really care about all these sweet foods, but lately, I crave a lot for it. I hope it won’t last though because I am risky to diabetes and I don’t want to be so big.
BRAXTON HICKS
So, I thought it was the baby who’s causing part of my belly hard sometimes. I did not know until last week that what I have is actually Braxton hicks. This is really uncomfortable and painful sometimes. It occurs at any time of the day and I have it for many weeks now I don’t remember when it started.
SLEEPING IS GETTING HARDER
The only comfortable place for me to sleep is the sofa. I’ve been sleeping there for so many weeks now. I have a lot of vivid dreams which are really weird. It’s hard all the time to turn from one side to another. I always try to sleep on my left side, sometimes on the right too. The pregnancy pillow helps a lot to make me feel comfortable to sleep.
STUFFY NOSE/ HARD TO BREATH
I have a stuffy nose and it’s hard to breathe. I learned that the stuffy nose is one of the pregnancy symptoms. I also believe it’s because of the flu. It’s getting colder here now and it makes me sick, flu and nose problems.
