UNEXPECTED 3 WEEKS SICK LEAVE

I had my 30 weeks appointment today and I told the nurse about the pains I’ve been feeling the past few weeks. I just ignored them because I believed they’re normal. But the nurse said I need to go see a doctor today and have checked. I told to myself that I will work as much as I can. And that I will survive and I can do it. And now i did not expect i will be home for 3 weeks on sick leave.

The appointment went well, anyway. We heard the baby’s heartbeat. The baby moves normally. My blood pressure is okay, though my hemoglobin is low. I’ve gained over 7 kilos from the beginning of pregnancy weight. After my appointment, I went to the hospital to see a doctor. I waited over two hours there. I met with the doctor. She checked me and boom told me you need to rest. Sick leave for three weeks. I was shocked. I didn’t expect what I heard. So from today, I’ll be home. Come back to work for like a week and then start my maternity leave. I know it’s boring to stay home but this is for my own good and the baby. We want to be healthy and so yeah rest. I will rest and just take this pregnancy easy.
