OUR MATERNITY PHOTOS IN AUTUMN

On October 4th we took our very own maternity photos in Autumn. There was nothing special. No professional photographer, no special outfits (well, except me), no special location. Autumn is my favorite season, there’s no way I won’t take maternity photos.

It was snowing in the morning and I was quite worried we could not take the photos on that day. It was my only one day off that week and I really want to do it that day before Autumn is over. In Finland, the weather is so unpredictable. It can rain snow in October and I would feel really sad if I didn’t take photos and the colorful leaves are gone. I was 28 weeks pregnant when we took these photos.

It was quite cold but I was so optimistic we take our maternity photos or never. It was the perfect day to do so. And so we did. There was a nice spot right in front of our apartment. A perfect location for a photoshoot. I did not plan on going somewhere far, so we were lucky that there’s a nice place to take photos near us. The photos of Meu and I were taken by Rianna. I am so proud of this little girl. She is getting good at taking photos. We were outside for like 15- 20 minutes. It was raining a little but we managed to take some good photos. I am so happy with the result. Who needs a professional photographer when you can do it on your own for free?

THE DRESS

The dress came two days before. I didn’t plan on wearing that dress but decided to wear it that day. The dress I bought from eBay for like 11€. So cheap but was so nice. Friends of mine were commenting it’s a wedding dress, that we were having wedding photos, prenup photos or whatsoever. Honestly, there’s no plan for a wedding at all. I probably get married when I am 80 years old, that if I am still alive. I don’t have many reasons to get married now. Or if I would, it would have been before baby, you know! My beliefs in life are quite different from others. And I hope people will respect that.
