A Day In Limassol, Cyprus

A DAY IN LIMASSOL

When we traveled to Cyprus last July, we stayed for a few days in Platres And then one day we decided we go visit Limassol as well. Limassol is not so far away from Platres so you can visit Limassol even just for a day. And thats what we did. We spent a day there and explore the city.

It was really nice there. We went straight to the Marina. We walked from the bus station to Marina. It was hot and sunny and honestly not so nice to walk around. But once we arrived at the Marina I was surprised at how pretty the place was. We walked around the harbor and then decided to have lunch there. I had the biggest pork steak ever for lunch and it was good. After lunch, we walked more and went to the beach.

It was not crowded on that day. It was also quite at the harbor and not so many tourists comparing to Ayia Napa. I really like the place and I could imagine how beautiful it is in the harbor during nights when there are lights. And how relaxing it would be there when it is evening and not hot. I wish I could stay for more than just a day.

We did not visit other places than walking around and visit the marina and the beach. It was just really hot and I hated that I couldn’t see anywhere to sit and hide the sun. That was one complaint I had, but in general, the place is really nice.
