WEEK 22 PREGNANCY UPDATES
It’s getting real day after day, especially now that the baby’s movements are getting stronger. I cannot see yet the moves from the outside though. I decided to start counting weekly on Sundays instead of Tuesdays. My real due date is December 22, so I must follow it and not the 24. We are now in the last week of month 5!
22 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UPDATE
August 18- 24
22 weeks! Wow, time goes fast now. It is the last week of month 5 and soon I will be six months pregnant. This weekend we will do the gender reveal. My friends are coming for the weekend. I am excited to finally know the gender of the baby. Then I can start buying more clothes and things needed. It’s been a long wait.
I visited the school this week and told them that I am pregnant and confused about what to do. They advised me to start school officially next year when the baby is older. I asked about online classes because I wanted to do something while I can, but there are no online classes as of now. All the subjects offered from August- December are everyday classes. So obviously I cannot do that since I am still working and giving birth by December. But I am happy everything is arranged now. I will decide later when I can start nursing school. I probably go to school or not.
HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS
BELLY IS GROWING
There is no denial now. The bump is growing bigger day after day and I cannot wait for that day I am going to meet my baby. I bought more gym pants and maternity leggings for work. I cannot wear my working pants anymore but the shirt I still can. I will be wearing the top uniform as long as it still fits. I have bought a few maternity t shirts in case I need it.
LEG CRAMPS
I am having some leg cramps again this week. I remember I didn’t have any last week. It’s not frequent though and only happened while at home. I am always on my feet every day, and legs and feet are getting tired easily. What I do is hang my legs when I sleep or sitting down in the sofa.
ALWAYS TIRED ESPECIALLY AFTER WORK
Work. work. work. I wish I can start my maternity leave now but unfortunately I cannot. My leave will start in November so I guess I need to be patient until then. Anyway, I am planning to work as much as I can. I believe it is better this way so my body is moving all the time. I just have to be more careful. No lifting and no overtired. However, it is quite hard sometimes. I make sure I take a nap as soon as I get home from the morning shift. Eat and drink well. And take my prenatal vitamins. And sleep during the night. Thankfully, I don’t have any sleeping problem yet. And I can still work 8 hours a day.
