We’ve Moved Out

MOVING OUT OF OLD APARTMENT

We have finally moved out of our old apartment in the last week of June. We had a lot of things and it took us days to finally moved all our things to the new apartment. On June 28th we spent our first night at the new apartment. We are very pleased with the apartment. It has bigger rooms and kitchen compared to the old one. Our bedroom is big enough and I am happy it fits the baby’s crib there and another furniture needed when the baby comes. Although the wall color is blue which I don’t like. But we are planning to paint it white. Yanna’s room is also big enough for her and all her things like toys, etc.

We are happy in our new home now. But I got to admit that I missed the old apartment too. We lived there for 3.5 years since December 2015, when Yanna and I moved out. It was our new beginning and a lot of things happened since then. I could say that I was lucky in that old apartment. From there good things happened and I treasured it forever. For one last time, I will be sharing photos of the old apartment. These photos were the ones they used to advertise the place for the new renter.

MISSING THE OLD APARTMENT

We moved in with just a few things with us and moved out with a lot of things. The apartment was totally empty in the first few months until I bought pieces of furniture one at a time. Yanna just turned 4 years old when we moved but if I ask her, she can still remember the time we moved there. She basically grew up there. We visited the old apartment last weekend to check postal mails and it feels so small now that we live in a bigger place. One thing I will be missing there so much is the bathtub. We don’t have in the apartment and the toilet is even smaller. We could live there a little longer, however because of the baby coming in December we need a bigger space.

Life must go on as they say. We need to learn to let go of things we love and move forward for the better. We surely miss the old apartment but we also love the new one.
