WEEK 18 PREGNANCY UPDATES
Hello! Another weekly pregnancy update here. We are now in our 18th weeks of pregnancy. The beginning of the 5th month. Wow! How time flies. I cannot believe I am now 5 months pregnant. It feels like it was just yesterday when I looked at that stick with two lines.
18 WEEKS OF PREGNANCY UPDATE
July 23-29
This week we are back from our summer holiday trip. It feels good to be back. To sleep in my own bed. To hug my pregnancy pillow when I sleep. Also, two weeks went by too fast. But we did have fun on our trip and we enjoyed so much the beach and the sun.
I have one more week summer holiday. Spending it resting at home, cleaning, laundry and also trying to go outside as much as possible. I am honestly not ready to go back to work yet. I think it will be a challenge to work with a big belly. But I know I can do it. Only a few months until I stay home for maternity leave.
This week I start to feel the baby moves in my belly. It is the most amazing feeling. I cannot wait to see the baby move from the outside too. You know to see the foot kicking me. :) July 25th evening, I was lying down the sofa watching TV and I can definitely feel something is moving inside my belly. Now I have a habit of rubbing my belly and talking to my baby.
HOW I FEEL AND PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS
BABY BUMP
My belly is growing so fast now. It is so visible and big already. Only at 18 weeks when I feel that I am really pregnant. The baby bump is showing and growing fast. I am not comfortable to wear jeans or shorts. Anything that will push my belly in. This week, I’ve bought some maternity clothes and normal dresses that can be used as a maternity dress. Now I feel inspired to dress this baby bump. I want to look great and beautiful with my baby bump. :)
APPETITE
I can now eat whatever I like. However, I don’t crave so much at something. As far as I remember my only cravings on this pregnancy is “Mango”. But I am totally fine if I want to eat it and then I don’t have anything to eat. Mangoes here are really expensive. I do not crave for sweets so much like chocolates, cakes and ice cream. I am hoping that I will not in this pregnancy as I don’t like to gain so much weight or to be fat. Also, hoping to not have diabetes during this pregnancy. I am eating normal, even less the way I was when I had my implant. Haven’t gained a lot of weight so far either. I would say I gained 1-2kgs since the beginning of the pregnancy. And like I said, I am hoping to gain only the baby weight and not to be fat. I will try my best to be active as much as possible.
Until next week for the next weekly pregnancy update and weekly bump photos.
