AGUTAYAN BEACH IN CAGAYAN DE ORO

One Sunday morning when we were in Cagayan de Oro we visited this small island. I did not know what to expect but I was positive that the island was nice. Agutayan island is the only white sand island in Cagayan de Oro. We went there with my sister, brother and his kids. We drove early so we could catch the low tide. We arrived early and to my surprise, it was only us there which was a good thing which means the island won’t be crowded. We took the boat only the seven of us, 4 adults and 3 kids. I was a little bit worried because the boat was small. The trip went well and we arrived in Agutayan island. It was only us there. It feels like we owned the island.

Agutayan Island is a small island. It has a white sand beach and has totally nothing there. The kids were having so much fun playing the sand, making mermaid tails, running around and swimming. It was early morning, (around 8 am) when we were there which was good because the sun wasn’t so hot yet. Rianna was having fun playing with her cousins. She loves the beach and the ocean, although that time she didn’t want to go swimming. Agutayan island isn’t so popular yet and is good to go there early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
