MY LITTLE PONY THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY
Today December 9 is Rianna’s real birthday but due to busy schedules, we held her birthday party last Saturday, December 2nd. I thought we don’t make her a party here as we are traveling to the Philippines tomorrow and can have a party there in the Philippines with our family and cousins. However, I do her birthday party every year, and it’s the only party I get so excited and stress about. So I decided to have one here with our close friends before our trip.
We supposed to have the same party together arranged by me and Yanna’s father, but things changed and decided to have separate parties. So I held mine at our little apartment which I was worried at first that the place might be too small for our guests to fit. But so many didn’t make it come to the place was just okay in the end.
Every year I always make an effort to bake and create a birthday cake for Rianna. May it be simple or with the design. I am not an expert so the cake looks rather no perfect but its okay, it is made of love and no matter how it looks, Yanna will be happy she has a cake. This year we did My Little Pony themed birthday party.
Last year it was Frozen, and Minnie Mouse the year before that. It is nice to create something base on what your kids want. For example, Rianna loves and already been crazy about my little pony last year but she also loves Frozen, so I chose the theme Frozen instead. But this year, I felt like why not give her My Little Pony party. She is seven now and who knows until when she will have the love of pony toys. So comes to My Little Pony themed birthday party.
It was a lovely day. I am lucky my friends came early to help me make the food. I couldn’t do it without their help. It is so stressful having a party even though it is just really a small party. It was nice celebrating Rianna’s seventh birthday with our close friends. Rianna is happy to see her friends. She was so excited to be seven years old. She was also happy and grateful to receive nice presents from the guests.
I told my friends to not buy her little pony and buy some other dolls instead, but once she opened one big present with a big Rainbow dash inside she was surprised and very happy that she wanted to play with it and forgot to open the rest of the presents. Still a little pony fangirl. It’s not over yet. :)
I bought almost all the decorations and even Rianna’s dress from eBay. So glad they came on time even though I moved the party date a week early. There were no fancy decorations as I am always busy. However, I am pleased as to how it turned out everything after all. Food was good, I made the cake not so perfect but looks okay. Guests were happy and most especially the birthday girl is happy. It was a lovely day and one thing I regret though I could have taken more photos with the guests and not just the food and dessert table. :)
