A VISIT TO PELES CASTLE IN ROMANIA

After watching the movie “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding” on Netflix yesterday, I realized it is time to share our photos and experiences visiting the Peles Castle in real life. I saw the first movie A Christmas Prince and it made me want to visit the Peles castle so bad. So when we had our summer holiday in July our one of the many destinations in Romania was a day at the Peles castle. It was such an exciting day, though it started to rain in the morning. A visit to Peles castle while visiting Romania is a must!

I was very happy that I finally see the castle in real life. The castle looks so pretty in the movie as so in real. I do wish to visit here also during autumn and winter. In the movie, it was winter and the castle looks even magical when it is surrounded by snow. And the interior is also very pretty (in the movie). I don’t know how the castle look inside as we were not able to get inside during our visit. I guess another reason to visit the castle again?

We had our own car when we went to Peles castle and stayed at the hotel nearby so it was easy for us to visit the place. We first visited the little Peles castle called Pelisor Castle. It is a small version and also very nice. This castle we managed to visit inside and tour around. Both castles look almost the same. Although the Peles castle is the most well known.  Have you been to Peles castle, or have visited Romania?
