Atlantis Aquapark, Tallinn

A DAY IN ATLANTIS AQUAPARK

A day in Atlantis waterpark spent wisely and fun. Atlantis Aquapark in Tallinn is big and had a lot of water slides that kids and even adults love and enjoy. It was our first time to go there and I would say I am glad we did because we had so much and it was such a lovely trip.

A last-minute trip is always the best. Although it costs you lots of money for paying more. We visited Atlantis Aquapark in Tallinn, Estonia on Sunday. It was the best decision ever. The trip was too short but we definitely had so much fun. I would say it was worth the penny we spent on this trip.

Rianna has five days autumn break and I have four, so I decided we go somewhere and enjoy the free time we have. I always wanted to go on a holiday only that we don’t have time but the weekend which is too short. So this autumn break is perfect timing for us to go somewhere. We also had a mommy-daughter date on Friday with Rianna, (read the post here).

We also had a birthday party to attend on Saturday so it was quite hard to decide what days to travel. Good thing traveling to Tallinn was easy and short. On Saturday afternoon we attended a birthday party in Porvoo and from there we went straight to Helsinki for a night cruise to Tallinn at 8:30 pm. We went on a cruise with my close friend and her daughter.

This was our third cruise together and four trips together in total including the Oslo trip last year.  Traveling with friends is always fun. Especially to see Rianna and her best friend so happy together.

My main goal on this trip is to bring Rianna to the Atlantis Aqua Park in Tallinn, Estonia. We have not been there before, so I thought why not to go there and try. My co-worker suggested this place so I checked it online. Rianna loves swimming so this is perfect for her. We arrived at 6 am on Sunday in Tallinn. Shops were still close so we found Mac Donalds which opens at 7 am and had breakfast.

It was so early in the morning, we took a few photos in the old town after and then took a taxi to Viimsi centrum where the Atlantis waterpark located. We paid about 16€ for the taxi. We wanted to take the bus but didn’t know exactly what bus and from where. Later we realized that bus 1A was the right one, going there and coming back to centrum.

We spent about three hours in the waterpark. I thought I will not bring the camera inside but it was something to remember and worth documenting so before we left I took the camera from the locker and took a few photos to remember. We paid 47€ for a family package (2 adults + 2 kids), my friend paid for herself separately. 3€ for one towel.

The website says 35€ but because it was weekend so we paid more. Atlantis Aquapark has few slides and is designed for kids and adults. There is an area for little kids, older kids, and adults. The water was warm. It was really nice there and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommended for family with kids. Here are some photos. You can see how happy we were and how kids having so much fun together.
