THE BRAN CASTLE

We visited Bran castle on our second-day road trip around Romania. It was a rainy day and I think it was the third sights we visited on that day before we headed to the next one. I expect too much to see in this castle but I was a little disappointed. I don’t know why it’s just that Bran castle didn’t get me as much as the other castles we have visited in Romania. However, Bran castle was one of the reasons I wanted to visit Romania aside from Peles Castle and many others. So, of course, I am happy to finally see this castle in real, walking around it and checking what’s inside. There were a lot of tourists even though it was rainy, blame the summer season!

We checked every room in the castle, every corner of it. From getting up and down of the scary stairs to checking out creepy rooms. Okay, it’s indeed the house where Dracula lives so it should be scary right? It’s beautiful and everything is preserved.

We went down to the garden after we finished exploring the inside of the castle. From the garden below is the perfect spot to take photos if you would like to have a photo of the whole castle. There was one moment while we’re there when we wished to have a drone to fly and take good photos from above the castle. (We definitely should buy one.)
