A Day In Warsaw, Poland

A DAY IN WARSAW, POLAND

One of the six countries we visited during our summer Eurotrip 2018 was Poland. We visited the capital city- Warsaw. It was a short two days trip but it was fun and worth the visit. We arrived in the evening after a short flight from Riga. It was very hot coming outside the airport, and we’re all adjusting the weather. Finland wasn’t that hot yet when we left. I always wonder what this country looks like and the culture and, I am so happy that I finally had time to visit this beautiful country.

We stayed at Airbnb, and at first, we thought it was a bad idea but we were wrong. The studio apartment we were staying in was so cozy and clean. It was indeed bigger than the hotel room and you have the whole place on your own. We really love staying there and, I highly recommend. It is cheaper than a hotel and it feels like you’re in your own house. Plus, it showed me some interior inspiration.

We spent the whole day exploring Warsaw on foot. It was very hot, and I would say my feet which aren’t used to wearing sandals anymore surrendered that we needed to go back to the apartment to change shoes, (a walking shoes, aka sneakers). We went to the old town, took a lot of photos and enjoyed ourselves.

We also visited the Saxon garden, thumbs of the unknown soldier, and we went shopping as well. I love Warsaw and I was hoping we could stay longer there. there’s a lot to see, so less time. I’d love to go back there one day and stay at least 3-4 days to do sightseeing and explore more. Have you been to Warsaw, Poland?
