HELSINKI MARKET SQUARE / KAUPPATORI

Summer is officially over and autumn just started. I know I love Autumn. It is my favorite season of the year, but I think that I am not so ready for it just yet. Anyway, before the atmosphere changes here, I better blog the summer adventures we had. Soon it will be dark and cold and the green scenery will disappear. It will be beautiful though. I love autumn and its colors.

Market square or Kauppatori (in Finnish) in Helsinki is open daily in summer. It is one of the most famous market places and tourist attractions in Helsinki. Here you can find fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, some restaurants and souvenir shops. It is located near the harbor. The last time we were here was when we went to Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. It can be a little bit crowded here during peak season. If you visit Helsinki, make sure to visit the market square as well.
