Picnic At Suomenlinna Sea Fortress

We spent the last weekend in Helsinki at my friends’. It was a fun weekend. On Saturday we visited the Helsinki’s world heritage site- Suomenlinna Sea Fortress. I have been to Suomenlinna a few years ago and, I thought it is about time to go there again with friends. We walked around there and found a perfect spot for a little picnic. I hope I’d bring Yanna a swimwear though so she could swim and deep in the water. She wanted to go swimming. There is a little beach there where everyone can go swimming as they wish to.

Suomenlinna is great place to relax. You can have a picnic there with family or with friends. Can walk around explore the island, learn the history of Finland, enjoy the view from up, kids play at the playground and run around, enjoy the sun, and just feel the nature and the sound of the birds. It’s a touristy place during summer however, it is not as crowded as the other tourist places. There is an old church there. There was even a wedding on that day. A lovely place to tie the knot. :)
