A Day In Turku, Finland
Over the weekend we had a cruise trip to Stockholm, Sweden to escape the Midsummer madness. The cruise was via Turku so we traveled going there and spend the whole day exploring the city. The ship leaves around 8 pm and we intended to go to Turku early so we have enough time to walk around. It was my first time in the city and I really like to visit Turku for quite a while now. We started walking through the river, bridges until we found our way to the Turku church. The church is so big and of course old. We went inside.
From here we started walking. There was a tall, big building that we thought was a castle so we tried ways to go there.
We climb up to the hill and discovered a perfect spot to see the city from up above. It was so nice there. You can see the photos below. From above we figured out where to walk to the port. On the way to the port, we walked through the river and saw lots of beautiful boat restaurants.
Below are some iPhone photos. The weather wasn’t so nice that day. It was a mix of rain, clouds, and sun. But somehow, we managed to have fun despite how gloomy the weather was.
