DIY ADVENT CALENDAR
It’s that time of the year again. The countdown for the Christmas day has begun. Today sharing my DIY Advent Calendar I made for Yanna.
It’s a few more days until Christmas day. The happiest season of the year. I’m so excited about it despite how stressful the days are and have been. Another reason I’m happy about is that I only have one and a half weeks left until I finish my “on the job training”, that means the holiday is coming and who else isn’t excited about rest days? Honestly, I’m counting the days. :)
Anyway, the reason for this post is to share with you our advent calendar this year. Last year was quite different. I’ve made small boxes of real presents and put 24 of them in a dollhouse. This year, however, I’ve decided to play it simple. I didn’t have enough time, so what I did was a simple and easy advent calendar.
In those little boxes, I put small toys and other stuff that can fit there. Everyday Rianna is so excited to open the box. And always happy whatever she got. I’m glad I’ve been able to do this as Rianna is four now and she can already appreciate things like this. When I mention Santa, she would ask me; “Missä Joulupukki on?” Where is Santa Claus? And she always says; “Hyvää Joulua!” (Merry Christmas!) It seems that someone is excited to see Santa this Christmas.
Anyway, I know it’s been a while since my last post. I have been busy working. Everything’s fine here and there’s nothing to worry about. I’m still alive folks!
Merry Christmas to all! How’s your advent calendar look like this year?
