One sunny day I was happy exploring the beautiful town of Porvoo. The weather was perfect. It was warm and sunny. I can see a lot of tourists walking on the streets. I can recognize their nationality by listening to their dialects. They were speaking Italian. Others speaking mandarin. There were group of people following their tourist guide. Some were busy taking photographs while others were listening to the guide very seriously. Within minutes of being there, it was automatic for me to act like one of the tourist as well. I started talking photographs, enjoying the views and taking selfies.
We wandered around the streets of the old town Porvoo. It was nice playing tourist one sunny afternoon on a hot summer day. I haven’t explored Porvoo so much, so imagine how excited I was during that day. We also went to the top hill where you can see the view of the town. It was really nice up there. It wasn’t that easy to climb up, but once you were on top, all the efforts are worth it. From there I can see the red houses, the small river, and the church tower, and many others. There were benches around the place. We sat there and suddenly I felt so relaxed. It feels like all the worries were gone. I wanted to feel the moment. I wanted to feel the nature, to feel the cold air that touches my skin. To feel how beautiful the place was. And to just be still. It was perfect if I may say!
It was a short and quick visit but it was fun. Porvoo is such a beautiful town. It’s one of the oldest towns in Finland. And there’s quite a lot of stories I haven’t heard of yet from this small yet beautiful town. I am looking forward to explore more and discover more about this town called Porvoo.
Have you ever visited Porvoo? How about the old town in Porvoo. Pay a visit and see how beautiful the place is.
I really really love your pictures. I’ve never been anywhere near Finland but I love that your photos take me on a little ‘tour’. PS: You look absolutely gorgeous! x
