DIY: Summer Flower Crown Headband

If you can remember I also made a DIY Flower Crown last year, where I used the real flowers I found in our backyard. Yesterday I made another one, but I used plastic flowers. It’s summer and flower crown is really a trend right now. So, shall we make one? It’s so easy to make. Here’s the tutorial.

DIY: FLOWER CROWN

You Will Need:

Plastic/Silk Flowers (petals and leaves)
1-meter Ribbon
Headband
Scissors
Green Florist Tape (optional)

Direction:

1. Start off in the middle of your headband, tie the ribbon.

2. Put the petal and leaf on the headband and cover the stem or tip of the flower simply by wrapping it with your ribbon. Make sure it’s tight. Continue with other flowers and make sure to overlap each to hide the ribbon. Continue doing with other flowers and leaves until you are finished.

3. Do the same on the other side of the headband.

4. You can cover the ribbon and headband with a green florist tape but this is optional. The ribbon you used to tie the flowers on the headband is invisible when you’re wearing the flower crown.

5. You can either use glue or simply tie the ribbon when you’re done.
