A few days ago there was a “Picnic On The Beach” event in Loviisa beach where there’s also a concert by the famous Finnish singer Jukka Poika & Dj Stormy. The concert started at 5 pm but we went there early. It was sunny but a little bit cold. We enjoyed walking on the beach and throwing stones at the sea. It was fun to see lots of people and kids enjoying the event. Most of us wear a jacket, some wear shorts already, but the middle of June supposed to be very warm and yet the weather that day was like spring still. It was fun though, all of us tried to enjoy the moment.

There were so many kids and the play area was full of energetic children including my daughter who’s that time won’t stop playing. We were running, climbing, and sliding. Rianna and her father played a lot and I remember hubby said it’s “Mama’s time now” because he was tired following her. We played in the sand, threw balls and running and catching. It was such a lovely day.

They were a few games that afternoon and even a sauna room for those who want to have a sauna that day. The beach was very crowded. Some sat on the ground having picnics with their family. Some playing with their little ones, some just watching the kids play.

Around 5 pm the concert started and we were all having fun listening to some reggae music. We all gathered facing the stage where Jukka Poika sang. We were even dancing as well. We went home in the middle of the concert because Rianna was very tired. She even falls asleep in the car on our way home.

It was such a lovely picnic on the beach, indeed. We needed this sometimes. Perfect to relax and enjoy the sun and music. However, this summer is cold though! But looking forward to the sunny and hot days so we can enjoy more the beach and the parks.
