52 Moments / 18- Mother’s Day Weekend

Mother’s Day Weekend

What’s best about celebrating Mother’s Day is being remembered by your friends and family. You were greeted with the love of your life first thing in the morning handling a present with a hug and a kiss. For me being greeted is the best gift I could ever receive from someone. It makes me feel so special.

Hubby and I are not the types of a couple who loves giving each other surprise presents. Instead of wasting money to buy things we are not sure we like it, we instead ask each other first what we want to receive a gift. That way we are sure we are giving something that we really need or want.

On Saturday we were doing our usual daily routine, go to the store to buy our food and things we need for that day or week. Hubby tried to sneak behind to buy something for me, which later he forgot I suppose not to know what it is. At the counter, he ran back to the grocery because he forgot something leaving me and the baby girl left at the counter unloading the goods from our cart. Yes, I just pretend I didn’t know what he got for me. It was fine though. We just laughed.

On Sunday, which is the mother’s day he surprised us with dinner. We had lunch at a local restaurant in Loviisa. Nothing fancy though, except that the restaurant was full because it was a holiday. After we ate we went to the park and took a few photos which I am going to share in the next post.

How did you celebrate Mother’s Day?
