Do you have favorite iPad apps for toddlers? There are a lot of iPad apps for toddlers in the apple store, some are free some are not. It’s up to you to choose which one is best.
I would lie if I will say we don’t allow Rianna to play the iPad because we do! In fact, she thinks that it is her own toy. We make sure that all she plays are educational and are suitable for little children. I have installed and bought a few educational iPad apps that toddlers and small kids would surely love. Alphabets, shapes, numbers, baby stories, just to name a few.
Here are few toddler iPad applications that we are using:
Endless ABC
Endless Alphabet application is where Rianna learn more about the letters. This is best application for toddlers and little kids. They can form words and it’s so much fun to play. There are so many words and they all arranged alphabetically. It has also meaning and explanation in each word, so your child will surely learn from it.
Aphabet
Alphabet app is basically about learning alphabets one by one. Rianna loves it as she likes to sing along with ABC song with it.
Earth School
I installed
Earth School app with the hopes that Rianna will learn something about space and science. I just search science in the apple store and this appeared right away and then I installed it. This is a very good application if you want your child to learn something about the earth, planets, and universe.
Sound TchLite
Sound Touch Lite is a good application to learn animals and its sounds. It has so many animal pictures. As they click the photo the animal in that photo will sound.
Nursery Rhymes For Kids
Nursery Rhymes app includes Twinkle Little Star, Old MacDonald had a farm, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and many more. Rianna’s favorite since she was still a baby was the Old MacDonald.
ABC Song
The ABC Song is more likely same with the Alphabet app I mentioned above. I really love to listen Rianna sing along with ABC when she plays with this app.
Learn With Kit
Also a very good app. The teacher will draw a sketch and ask what it is. It is good for the child to learn and identify the sketch or drawings.
Play123
Play123 is good to learn the numbers and shapes. There is an instructions and you will just follow like tap the screen or draw a circle.
Shapes
This is more on a story that involves different kinds of shapes. Good app for learning the different kinds of shapes and color.
Baby HD TV
Rianna loves this BabyTV HD app so much. There are stories that she really likes playing all the time like “The Numbers Party”.
Baby Books:
Tinkerbelle
Tinkerbell is Rianna’s favorite story to watch even when she was still a baby. There is playing dress up in this app. I don’t know how it happened but Rianna just clicked something where she can play puzzles also within this app. There is also other storybooks like Alice in wonderland, etc. She can play puzzles within those apps. Puzzles are very good for her as she learns more on how to form and solve the puzzle. I teach her once and she already knows how to use it.
Aakkospeli Lite
An alphabet application in Finnish. I installed all apps in English, so hubby tried to find one in Finnish. Rianna’s main language is Finnish so she should learn Finnish first.
Lola’s ABC
Lola’s ABC is another learning application in Finnish. This app consists of different other language too like Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, German, etc. But we only let Rianna open the Finnish one.
So, these are all the iPad apps that we are using as of late. I know so many of them! If you have any more recommendations please do share. And if any of the above you haven’t tried yet, please try. Your child may like it as well.
