Sweet Treats: Chocolate (White) Cake

I will always love chocolate cake. Any chocolate-flavored cake, in fact! I only have one chiffon chocolate cake recipe that I have been using so far. Every time there is an occasion I used the same chocolate cake recipe. It is easy to make and very delicious cake. Here is the recipe:

Chocolate Chiffon Cake

Things you’ll need:

1 tablespoon butter
2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup hot water.

Direction:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt in a bowl. Whisk to combine all dry ingredients.
Add eggs, milk, butter, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and beat using an electric mixer in medium speed until well combined.
Add in the hot water and beat at high speed for about one minute.
Transfer the cake batter into the grease baking pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool.

Cover your chocolate cake with white frosting or whip cream.
Decorate with chocolate pieces.
