DIY: Easy To Make Christmas Balls Chandelier

It has been a while since the last time I posted DIY projects here.

I have so many ideas on my mind, I just do not know how and when to starts those projects. Anyway, I started decorating the house and made a chandelier out of those Christmas balls that I already have. I think I have to share it with you here. It is very easy to make. Sorry, I do not have step by step photos as I made it not thinking I would blog it. But anyway, here are the tutorials.

Christmas Balls Chandelier

What you need:

A wire
7 or more Christmas balls
1 meter Christmas garland
Thread
Wire cutter
Scissors
Ribbon

Procedure:

    • 1. Gather the things you need.
    • 2. Form the wire into a circle. It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle. You decide how big or small it would be. (just the same size as in the photo. I didn’t measure but I think it’s about 8-10 inches in diameter.)
    • 3. Cover the round wire with a Christmas garland by rolling over into it. Tie 4 different ribbons (or string) in an X form and knot them together. Hang your round wire in the ceiling where you can reach or table.
    • 4. Insert a thread to each ball, start with the shortest one about 3 inches long. And then followed with the second ball a little bit longer than the first one. At least 2-3 inches longer than the previous one. Finish all the rest of the balls. The longest ball should be about 15 inches long or longer.
    • 5. Tie or attach your balls to the round wire beginning with the shortest one, 4 inches apart, followed with the rest of the balls. Make sure they are all layered like a chandelier form. From the shortest to the longest in a round form.
    • And it’s done.
    • Hang them whenever you want. It should turn around as the wind blows them, for example, if the window is open.

Now you have a unique Christmas balls chandelier. Isn’t it nice? Good luck and I hope you like this project.
