How To Resize Photos In A Blog Post

I am not a web designer by any means but i learned html by constant practice of trial and error. I designed my own blog template based on what i want and what i want it to look like. As far as blogging is concerned i like to read blogs with great photos. I like lifestyle blog, fashion blogs but i like most photography blogs. I do not know why, i just feel inspired by looking at the photos. That is why today i am going to share to you on how i blog photos and how i resize them to make it fit on my blog layout. Let’s be honest, blogs with same width photos are better looking than those with uneven size images blogs.
Here’s an easy step on how to resize and adjust image size in every blog post.

1. UPLOAD PHOTOS
When i make a blog post, first thing i do is upload all the photos directly to blogger. It will all save on my picasa albums directly.

2. CHANGE TO LEFT or CENTER ALIGN AND XL SIZE
After the photos are uploaded it looks like this.

It is too small and i do not like it. So i have to change it to XL SIZE and alight LEFT. I used alight left in all my photos by the way. You can also use align center, depending on your blog layout.

3. CHANGE THE IMAGE SIZE
After i changed to XL size, it is still not fit to my blog layout so i need to adjust and make it bigger. My image size should be 750x500px or 750x 1050px. To change the size simply go to html, change the size example this

(<img border=”0″ height=”426” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Lsgpqhk2r7k/USHbKyflUoI/AAAAAAAATTY/pLgCSflUv_4/s640/DSC_5974.jpg” width=”640” />)

Change that 426 to 500 and 640 to 750

(Note that the image sizes will depends on your layout and content area. You may check first what’s the photo dimension will fit on your blog content area.)

That time my photos are on same width and fit perfectly to my blog content area.

4. TO AVOID BLURRY PHOTOS
To make sure your photos are not blurry, change that s640 to s1600.

And that’s it. After that i can start writing a blog post.

It is super easy and time consuming but i am used to it. We all have different style and this one works perfectly for me. I hope you find this post helpful. If you have additional tips please let me know.
