Hello lovelies allow me to introduce myself. All of you doesn’t know anything about me except if you are my family, relatives and friends of course! Chymecindy isn’t my real name but i love to be called that name. It was existed when i was still in college. And i have been using ever since. My family and relatives call me N-Dhay. My college mates and officemates and friends call me Cindy. I know i have so many names. But my real name is a combination of my parents name. Okay, to make it short, just call me Chyme, Chymecindy or just Cindy.
Here’s some facts about me.
ORIGIN:
I was born and raised in Philippines. My parents are both school teachers and we live in our own house in the place where my parents work. They both came from different cities and moved to our place because of work. My papa was from Bohol and my mama was from Cabadbaran. They were on their late twenties when they got married. They made five beautiful kids and i am the third. Both of my elder brothers are engineers. My younger brother is a policeman. And my younger sister is a registered nurse. I am so proud of my sister and myself because i got a chance to help her send to school when i was still working in Cebu. And i am so proud of her that despite our mothers’ early death she didn’t get discourage and she was so determined to finished school. Yes! our mother died when our youngest was only 17 because of cancer. It was very sad. I was only 22, unfortunately.
I spent four years in college in Butuan City where i finished Banking and Finance at FSUU. I also spent years working in Cebu after i finished my degree. My last job was at Avis in Shangri-la in which i quit 3 days before my flight to Finland. I do have several jobs before that.
LOVE/MARRIED LIFE:
My husband and i met online sometime in August 2010. It happened so fast. My husband went to Cebu in October 2010 where we spent two weeks traveling together. It was love at first sight. (if you believe so) We went to Boracay Island, Bohol and tour around Cebu. It was the happiest and enjoyable holidays i ever had. Two weeks break from a stressful job and vacation with bf, family and friends. It was fun and memorable but also the saddest. The day he flew back to Finland I felt like i lost someone special. I was so sad and felt so lost. I miss him so badly.
A month later, i filed my Schengen (tourist) visa and got approved in two weeks. I felt so lucky, excited and very happy. My visa was valid only for one month. It was a big risk for me because i quit my job because of it. I flown to Finland alone in January 17, 2011. A day after having so much fun in Sinulog festival. I had my sister and closest friend dropped me to the airport. I was so anxious, scared and excited. I arrived in Finland on January 18th morning. My first impression was.. “why nobody check my passport?”. And then i assumed that my flight was from Paris so maybe they don’t need to check passports from flights around EU.
I met my husband once again. And this time we are not going to depart away from each other. At least for one month. I arrived at his lovely home. We were both so happy and grateful that finally were together again. It was wintertime and the snow was as high as his house roof. And it was very cold. I was so happy that i finally met mr snow!
Our relationship went well. And my first days and weeks were awesome. We were in love and happy together. I filed my residence permit after my three weeks stay. And once again i felt so lucky and blessed that they granted me to stay in Finland for another year. My permit was approved in two weeks. Yes! i was one of those lucky ones who got their permit that fast. Others got their permit in months and even year/s. Hubby and i were so happy. See! that day i found out that i am destined to be here. Who would have thought? My dream place is Australia and now i am in Finland. The country where i don’t know anything except only about Nokia phones. I don’t even know that it’s Santa’s place.
PRESENT LIFE:
To make the story short, we got married in August 2011 in the church where my hubby and i both love. Our plan was to get married at Eiffel tower sometime in April. But my papers from Philippines arrived too late that we decided to held the wedding here on our one year anniversary. It was a solemn church wedding witnessed by some friends and relatives. Again to make the story short, i got pregnant right away. And i gave birth at 35 weeks to a healthy baby girl. She will turn one year old on December 9. My life changes so much in 2011. I guess it’s my year? I moved to Finland, i got pregnant, married and became a mother.
Right now i’m happily married living in Finland with my loving husband and cutie pie baby girl. I am a stay at home mom. I blog on my spare time when my baby girl is having a nap. I blog about just anything that makes me happy and inspired. When my baby turns 2 or 3 i will start going Finnish language school and maybe find job someday. For now i will just enjoy my time taking care of my baby while she still too young.
This is my life and our life.
